Developing Cultural Awareness Training

At Easton Christian Family Centre on Wednesday 16th October, 9.30-12.30. 

Our Developing Cultural Awareness Training course will help you understand the role culture plays in shaping our experiences and expectations in life, as well as preparing you to relate more effectively to people from different cultural backgrounds or perspectives.

By reflecting on our own cultural influences, and by seeking to understand those of others, the course helps to prepare participants for cross-cultural experiences, for working in multicultural teams and for living in today’s multicultural society.

This interactive training session is co-facilitated by a trainer with lived experience of living and working in a culture different to their own. It lasts three hours with a break. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided.

• Tools for developing greater cultural awareness
