DESCRIPTION:RefuLingua Language Classes: Summer Term 2026 \nWelcome to our RefuLingua Summer Term 2026 programme of group classes. Courses run for eight weeks from the start date and lessons are one hour long. All classes this term are suitable for beginners except for Sana’s Thursday class. We are sometimes in a position to be able to offer a concessionary rate\, so please ask. \nAbout | RefuLingua employs tutors from refugee and migrant backgrounds to teach their native languages. \nWe teach Arabic (Syrian\, Sudanese\, Reading and Writing\, MSA)\, in a mixture of small group and 1:1 classes\, online and in person. We can also connect you with speakers of Farsi\, Pashto\, Dari\, Somali\, Turkish\, Spanish\, and Kurdish who are eager to share their language and culture in informal lesson contexts. DESCRIPTION:Join us on 16th April for a celebration of Henleaze\, Southmead and Horfield\, hosted at St Peter’s Hall. Featuring a delicious Arabic feast\, live music from Anatolian oud player Ozcan Ates\, and the opportunity to share stories and conversation around the table\, this will be an evening to remember! \nDate: Thursday 16th April\, 7-9pm. \nLocation: St Peter’s Church Hall\, The Drive\, Henleaze\, BS9 4LD \nMenu: Arabic cuisine by guest chef Oumaima Yousef. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. All food is halal. \nTickets: Adult – £15\, Child (5-15) – £7.50\, Under 5: Free \nBook your place now to avoid missing out! You can indicate any special dietary requirements when you book. \nPay it Forward tickets are also available – buying one of these enables us to invite someone who could otherwise not afford to attend. \n\nPeace Feasts bring people together around a meal\, to listen to music\, exchange stories and hear from guest speakers. They celebrate local communities\, help us to see the world through someone else’s eyes\, and create spaces for friendships to grow between people from different backgrounds and experiences of life.
