DESCRIPTION:Following the success of last year’s Grand Iftar on College Green\, which saw more than 500 people come together to share in the iftar (breaking of the fast) meal\, this year’s event is organised by Muslims4Bristol in partnership with Bristol Cathedral and Bridges for Communities. With delicious Afghan cuisine and soulful music from Soufian Saihi\, this is set to be a wonderful evening. \nDate: Friday 19th April\, 7-9pm. \nLocation: Ebenezer Church building\n(286 Filton Avenue\, Horfield\, BS7 0BA) \nTickets: Adult – £15\, Child (5-15) – £7.50\, Under 5: Free \n \n\nMenu \nStarter: Vegetable Soup \nMain course: Chicken Karahi with Fragrant Rice and salad. (An aubergine bake will also be available for vegetarians and vegans). \nDessert: Shir Berenj (Persian Rice Pudding) \nA ‘Pay It Forward’ option is available – why not consider buying an extra ticket so that we can make a place available to somebody who would not normally be able to afford it? \nHelp us make this event more environmentally friendly. We are working towards making our events more environmentally friendly by always providing a vegetarian and vegan option\, reducing overall meat consumption\, reducing the amount of plastics used\, encouraging people to use public transport etc. We would therefore like to ask you to kindly consider coming to the event on foot / by bike / using public transport if you are able to.
