DESCRIPTION:RefuLingua’s Spring 2025 timetable will be announced on January 24th.  \nDrop us an email to express your interest and make sure you don’t miss out\, or to enquire about 1:1 classes. \nAbout | RefuLingua employs tutors from refugee and migrant backgrounds to teach their native languages. \nWe teach Arabic (Syrian\, Sudanese\, Reading and Writing)\, in a mixture of small group and 1:1 classes\, online and in person. We can also arrange classes in Farsi\, Pashto\, Dari\, Somali\, Turkish\, Spanish\, and Kurdish. We are small and flexible and will always try to accommodate your needs\, so get in touch to let us know what you’re after. SUMMARY:Listening Space: Recent Divisions and Tensions Around Migration
DESCRIPTION:In response to recent divisions and tensions around migration\, we’re pleased to announce two Listening Space events that seek to provide a safe space to share different perspectives and experiences. \nNo matter our view point or upbringing\, we have all wondered ‘why do they…?’ \nAt Bridges\, we recognise that taking time to hear from others and to be heard is the first step towards living well with difference. \nIf you feel you and your community has not been well understood then join a listening space where together we can begin to address some of the biggest challenges in our society. \nAll viewpoints are welcome as we seek to listen to those we may disagree with. Spaces are limited and participants will agree to the participant guidelines to take part | Listening Spaces Guidelines. \nThere will be two parts to the event: Part 1 will provide an opportunity for each person to share how you each feel about the subject\, we will then invite each person in Part 2 to share what you’re noticing and what your hopes are moving forward.
