DESCRIPTION:RefuLingua’s Spring 2025 timetable will be announced on January 24th.  \nDrop us an email to express your interest and make sure you don’t miss out\, or to enquire about 1:1 classes. \nAbout | RefuLingua employs tutors from refugee and migrant backgrounds to teach their native languages. \nWe teach Arabic (Syrian\, Sudanese\, Reading and Writing)\, in a mixture of small group and 1:1 classes\, online and in person. We can also arrange classes in Farsi\, Pashto\, Dari\, Somali\, Turkish\, Spanish\, and Kurdish. We are small and flexible and will always try to accommodate your needs\, so get in touch to let us know what you’re after. SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn: Cultural Awareness Training Taster Online
DESCRIPTION:Our Cultural Awareness Training course helps people understand the role culture plays in shaping our experiences and expectations in life\, as well as preparing them to relate more effectively to people from different cultural backgrounds or perspectives. By reflecting on our own cultural influences\, and by seeking to understand those of others\, the course helps to prepare people for cross-cultural experiences\, for working in multicultural teams and for living in today’s multicultural society. \nWe are offering a free 45 minute taster session of our training course\, open to anyone who would like to begin to explore these themes. Expect an interactive\, engaged\, discursive session\, including a Cultural Case Study facilitated by a trainer with lived experience. We will have 15 minutes at the end for questions.  \nIt is free to attend. Register to be sent a link and a reminder on the day\, or find out more. \nCurious but can’t make it?
