Bethlehem Olive Harvest - Oct 13th-20th 2018

Visit the Holy Land. Meet the People. Learn about the issues. Contribute in a practical way.

Working in partnership with the Holy Land Trust in Bethlehem, Bridges is again offering the chance for people from the UK to spend a week in October 2018 helping Palestinian farmers to harvest their olives. This is a great way to build awareness of the challenges that people living in the Holy Land face, and to contribute in a simple but practical way towards an important part of the Palestinian way of life.

Experience climbing to the top of an ancient olive tree to pick the last of the olives, explore some of the sights of the Holy Land, savour some wonderful Middle eastern food, and make new friends as you share this wonderful experience together! If you are really up for an adventure, you can also opt to stay with a host family rather than be in a hotel.

To get a taste of what the experience will be like, check out this short video from our 2015 Olive Harvest trip and this video diary made by 2 participants on the 2017 trip!
