Refugees and asylum seekers face many challenges as they seek to settle into life in the UK - for many this can be a difficult and lonely time as they struggle to make ends meet, learn a new language, and find their place in a new environment. We seek to ease the burden a little by creating opportunities for refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol to take a break, to get out of the city, to connect with others and to have some fun.
Our monthly social events, get-togethers and days out aim to contribute towards a sense of wellbeing and connectedness, and are a great way for volunteers to get involved too.
