Stoke Gifford Peace Feast

🗣️ Reduced Ticket Prices! 🗣️
Join us for a Peace Feast in Stoke Gifford. This is a chance to connect with neighbours, share a delicious meal and hear from Özcan Ates, singer and king of the bağlama, from Anatolia.
We’ll be thinking about recipes which shape us, and how they create new opportunities for sharing in our neighbourhoods. Come prepared to share the name of a dish or recipe that is meaningful for you. It could be meaningful because of who taught it to you, or because it reminds you of somewhere special. To keep the fun, keep it simple. 5 ingredients is ideal and you don’t have to add precise measurements. We’ll swap at some point during the night!
Date: Saturday 24th October 6:00 – 8:00pm
Location: Brooklands Park Community Centre, 2 Clover Wy, Stoke Gifford, Bristol BS34 8AZ
Theme: Old recipes, New tables
Tickets: Adult REDUCED from £15 to £3 , child FREE. Please still sign up for your child so we can know how many to cater for.
You can indicate any special dietary requirements when you book. Halal and vegetarian options available.
Pay it Forward tickets are also available – buying one of these enables us to invite someone to a future Peace Feast without cost.
Peace Feasts bring people together around a meal, to listen to music, exchange stories and hear from guest speakers. They celebrate local communities, help us to see the world through someone else’s eyes, and create spaces for friendships to grow between people from different backgrounds and experiences of life.
