Walk, run, or… cartwheel Bristol’s bridges with us

We are challenging our community to cross as many bridges in Bristol as possible between 9-29th March, to raise money for our work bridging communities in Bristol, and enabling people to live well with difference.

Great news! However you want to get across Bristol’s Bridges, we’d love for you to join us in fundraising for Bridges for Communities.

You might choose to walk a few Bridges with your family and friends, getting sponsored for the number of Bridges you complete, perhaps cartwheel across while in fancy dress, or be the quickest across all 45!

We are inviting you join the challenge on the days and times that suits you best between 9th – 29th March. Invite a few friends to get involved midweek, one evening, or get a few people together on the weekend.

There will be a celebration party on the 29th March for everyone who has taken part.

Why Bridges?

Bristol’s river Avon may once have marked a divide between the south and the north of the city but our Bridges stand as everyday reminders of what we can build when we choose connection.

By walking the Bridges of Bristol, we celebrate what happens when people meet in the middle. Each step is a reminder that our city is stronger when we reach across the divides and walk together.

Together, we can create communities where we know and trust our neighbours, where we care for each other, and where we all feel we have a place.

Join us in building kinder, fairer, and more welcoming communities.

How Do I Get Involved?

We would love to provide you with some more information and a fundraising pack to help you along the way. Let us know you are keen to get involved at info@bridgesforcommunities.com.
